Our Life Together

The Bible presents a simple pattern of church life that revolves around worship, biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, evangelism, and service.  As we devote ourselves to these activities as a community, we believe God will work powerfully by his Spirit, causing us to grow to spiritual maturity as a church, and then using us to bring significant change to the world around us.

The heart of our life together as a church community is our Sunday worship services.  It is our belief that there is no greater privilege or joy in life than gathering with fellow believers to worship our God on the day he has set apart for our rest and worship.  For this reason we worship in the morning and the evening every Sunday.

As a church community we need to think and act biblically if we are to grow to spiritual maturity and bring spiritual change to the world around us.  To that end we have developed a Christian education program for both children and adults.  Classes meet during the hour before the Sunday morning worship service, and are designed to combine biblical teaching with stimulating discussion and practical application.

Another significant aspect of our life together as a church community is our Home Bible Fellowships.  These fellowship groups meet on Wednesday evenings in the various homes of church members for prayer, fellowship, service, and Bible study.  The members of each fellowship group are encouraged to minister to one another in word and deed, and to seek creative ways to reach out to their neighborhoods with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.  On the first Wednesday of every month, all the Home Bible Fellowship groups gather together to enjoy a meal together followed by a time of congregational prayer.
